Warnings When Using Imigran Nasal Spray

Do not use Imigran Nasal Spray if you have a history of heart disease, stroke, or uncontrolled high blood pressure without consulting your healthcare provider.
Inform your healthcare provider about all other medications you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs, before using Imigran Nasal Spray.
Avoid using Imigran Nasal Spray within 24 hours before or after using another migraine headache medicine.
If you experience chest pain, tightness in the chest, or sudden severe headaches after using Imigran Nasal Spray, seek immediate medical attention.
Keep out of reach of children. Store at room temperature away from heat and moisture.

How to Use Imigran Nasal Spray

Follow the instructions provided by your healthcare provider or pharmacist carefully.
Shake the nasal spray gently before each use.
Prime the spray pump by pumping it a few times until a fine mist appears, if it's a new bottle or hasn't been used for a while.
Insert the tip of the nasal spray into one nostril, close the other nostril with your finger, and tilt your head slightly forward.
Breathe in gently through your nose and spray the medication into your nostril. Avoid inhaling deeply.
Use only the prescribed number of sprays. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
If your symptoms improve after the first dose but return later, you may use a second dose as directed by your healthcare provider. However, if your symptoms do not improve, do not take a second dose without consulting your healthcare provider.
