NHS Flu Vaccination
The 2026/27 NHS flu vaccination programme for eligible adults starts from 1 October 2026 and runs until 31 March 2027.
The NHS flu vaccine is eligible for:
- Adults who are 65 and over (including those who will be 65 by 31 March 2027)
- People age between 18 and 65 with certain medical conditions
- Pregnant women
- Residential care homes
- Carers in receipt of carer’s allowance, or those who are the main carer of an elderly or disabled person
- Close contacts of immunocompromised individuals
- Frontline health workers (clinical and non-clinical staff who have contact with patient)
- Social care workers
Please note that eligibility criteria for the NHS flu vaccine may change based on the guidelines set by the NHS. The information provided here is accurate as of the time of writing and is subject to updates according to NHS guideline. If you do not qualify for a free NHS flu vaccine we can still provide you with a private flu vaccination and this applies to both under and over 50s.
