Warnings When Using Duac Gel

Use Duac Gel with caution:
  • Avoid contact with eyes, lips, and mucous membranes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
  • Do not use Duac Gel if you are allergic to clindamycin, benzoyl peroxide, or any other ingredients in the gel.
  • Keep out of reach of children. Store at room temperature away from heat and direct sunlight.

Directions

How to Use Duac Gel

  • Wash your hands and the affected area with a mild cleanser and pat dry.
  • Apply a thin layer of Duac Gel to the affected areas once daily in the evening, or as directed by your healthcare provider.
  • Avoid applying to broken, sunburned, or irritated skin. If applying to sensitive areas, use with caution.
  • Use sunscreen and wear protective clothing when exposed to sunlight, as Duac Gel may increase sensitivity to UV rays.

Duac Gel Ingredients

Each gram of Duac Gel contains:
  • Clindamycin phosphate equivalent to clindamycin 1% (10 mg/g)
  • Benzoyl peroxide 5% (50 mg/g)
  • Other ingredients include: carbomer 940, dimethicone, disodium lauryl sulfosuccinate, edetate disodium, glycerin, methylparaben, poloxamer 182, purified water, silicon dioxide, and sodium hydroxide.
