How to Take Lansoprazole

  • Take Lansoprazole orally, usually once daily before a meal, or as directed by your healthcare provider.
  • Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water; do not crush or chew.
  • If you have difficulty swallowing capsules, you may open the capsule and sprinkle the contents on a tablespoon of applesauce. Swallow immediately without chewing and follow with water.
  • Continue taking Lansoprazole for the prescribed duration, even if you feel better.
